Netflix April 2020 Upcoming Series

Netflix is here to make social distancing a little easier. The streaming service has announced a number of titles that will be added throughout the month of April. Original movies including Coffee & Kareem, The Main Event, Tiger Tail, Sergio, The Willoughbys, Extraction and Rich in Love will all join the streamer’s roster in the upcoming month.

Sunderland ‘Til I Die (Season 2) :

Netflix Release Date is April 1st, 2020. This documentary series set out to be a big promotion for the soccer club from the UK but in fact, further documented their demise. Has their most recent season been any better? Find out on the first of the month. The main characters are the controversial new owners – chairman Stewart Donald and now former director Charlie Methven.

Coffee & Kareem :

Netflix Release Date is April 3^rd2020. A new comedy featuring The Office’s Ed Helms. It’s directed by Michael Dows. The main characters are Taraji P. Henson , Terrence Little Gardenhigh, Betty Gilpin.

Money Heist / La Casa De Papel (Part 4) :

Netflix Release Date is April 3^rd2020. The Spanish series phenomenon will be returning at the beginning of April with a much anticipated new season especially after the explosive ending of part 3. Among Netflix’s biggest hits, Money Heist is definitely sitting among the best. The main characters are Ángel, Oslo, Moscow, Mónica Aka Stockholm, Gandia, Rio, Denver, Inspector Raquel Aka Lisbon, Helsniki, Nairobi, Arturo, Inspector Alicia Sierra, Tokyo, Berlin, The Professor

Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020 (Part 3) :

Netflix Release Date is April 7th. The excellent Japanese reality series which sees contestants share a space returns for another 12 episodes. The main characters are Wez, Cheri, Yuudai, Hikaru , Makoto, Mila, Ryo, Mariko Etc

Brews Brothers (Season 1) :

Netflix Release Date:April 10^th2020. New comedy sitcom series that sees two brothers start a brewing company although they still haven’t quite worked out how to be loving siblings yet. The main Characters are Alan Aisenberg, Carmen Flood, Marques Ray etc

Earth and Blood / La Terre et le Sang (French Movie) :

Netflix Release Date is April 17^th2020. This new French Original was announced as part of Netflix’s big expansion into France in January 2020. It features some great talent from the region including Sami Bouajila, Eriq Ebouaney, and Samy Seghir.

Sergio:

Netflix Release Date is April 17th, 2020. Sergio, the upcoming Netflix Original biopic is based on the horrific Canal Hotel bombings that took the lives of multiple UN representatives, including the life oBrazilian diplomat Sergio Vieira de Mello. The movie features Wagner Moura who is mostly known from his stint as Pablo Escobar on Netflix’s Narcos. It also features Ana de Armas who is known for her roles in movies such as Blade Runner and more recently, Knives Out.

After Life (Season 2) :

Netflix Release Date is April 24th, 2020. Ricky Gervais is well known for his sitcoms but in 2019, he came to Netflix with a brand new entry and it crushed all expectations. Season 2 of After Life will continue Tony’s story, who by the end of the first season turned over a new leaf with a more positive outlook on life. The main Characters are Kerry Godliman, Lisa, Ashley Jensen, Roisin Conaty, Roisin Conaty etc

Extraction :

Netflix Release Date is April 24th, 2020. Chris Hemsworth is mostly known for his role as the ‘God of Thunder’ Thor in the MCU but will soon be appearing in a new action-thriller headed to Netflix around the world at the end of April. Extraction is about a black market gun for hire who is hired to pick up the kidnapped son of a crime warlord but it turns out to be his toughest assignment till date.

The Victims’ Game :

Neflix Release Date is April 30th, 2020. This is a new Taiwanese movie that employs some big talent for the region. Among the stars confirmed for the movie are Joseph Chang and Tiffany Hsu Star and saw a press event took place in December 2019. The thriller is about a forensic investigator who finds his daughter involved in a serial murder case. The main characters are Isis Hainsworth, Seylan Baxter, Karla Crome, Georgie Glen, David Goodall

Ghost in the Shell / SAC_2045 :

TBD-Ghost in the Shell is a beloved anime franchise. The original series aired in the 1990s and although we got a live-action movie starring Scarlett Johansson the series has generally remained untouched. The first teaser for the series released back in late October 2019 and it’s fair to say the reaction wasn’t too great. The main characters are – Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbæk, Takeshi Kitano , Juliette Binoche , Michael Pitt.
