The Life after Death is the belief that the essential part of an individual’s identity or the stream of consciousness continues after the death of the physical body. According to various ideas about the afterlife, the essential aspect of the individual that lives on after death may be some partial element, or the entire soul or spirit, of an individual, which carries with it and may confer personal identity or, on the contrary nirvana. Belief in an afterlife is in contrast to the belief in oblivion after death.
What is a death experience?
I call it an “experience of death” because that’s what it is. People report a unique cognitive experience in relation to death. They may have a perception of seeing their body and the doctors and nurses trying to revive them, yet feel very peaceful while observing. Later they develop a perception or a sensation of being pulled towards a type of destination. During the experience, they review their life from birth, until death, and interestingly this review is based upon their humanity. Our death in future is a certainty: then, what will happen?
What happens when you die? Is there life after death?
“The Soul never dies, but as long as you have not become the Soul (Self Realized), you will experience fear of death.” Consequently, there will be an absence of fear at the time of death. One will experience bliss and everyone around will experience peace. 
Reality from a Dead Person’s perspective
“There are many anecdotal references to people being declared dead by physicians and then “coming back to life”, sometimes days later in their own coffin, or when embalming procedures are about to begin.
Imagining about a zombie one needs to project and identify with fear, aggression, death, destruction, animal instincts, apathy etc. And to imagine about a cyborg one needs to identify with someone emotionless and being under someone’s control.
What happens the moment after you die?
Death is “good” when it fits with the role given, acknowledged and accepted by the dying person. One of the main objectives of a culture is re-orienting death towards life. Each person’s death threatens society’s cohesion by casting a shadow on the feelings of safety and continuity on which every human being bases his life and finds support.
Perceptions of Life After Death
The life after death is the belief that the essential partof an individual’s identity or the stream of consciousness continues after the death of the physical body.
The moment after you die, your soul temporarily departs from your body to await the Resurrection.
There is birth after death and death after birth. Why does this cycle continue relentlessly? It is because of ’causes and effects, and effects and causes’ that the cycle perpetuates. Once the causes are created, there is no escaping from its ensuing consequences of its effect. If causes were destroyed, effect too would come to an end and another birth would cease to occur.
Reincarnation is real?
The belief of the non-Hindus is that once dead they do not return, but they do return. They do not understand this because they do not understand the process of reincarnation.
When the body dies, it becomes lifeless and from that one can easily deduce that there was life within, which has now departed and gone elsewhere. Those who do not believe in reincarnation believe that the very life force (jiva) within was living and is now dead. It is because of the spiritual developments that we believe in reincarnation.
No one takes birth. Being born is an ‘effect’. Birth takes place automatically. If the causes are nurtured, rebirth is inevitable.
We are not able to see life after death just like we are not able to see our life before we were born, because we are not able to imagine anything beyond the time.
Ideally, the question should not be “Is there Life after Death” rather it should be “Is there Life before Death”?
