Starring alongside Tapsee Pannu in the lead role. Pink is a powerful statement on the existing feudal mindset of a majority of India, where men and women are judged by a different yardstick. Rajkumar Rao in Shahid
Having won rave surveys for his exhibition as an attorney in the widely praised film Shahid, Rajkumar Rao never neglects to dazzle. In view of the genuine existence of attorney Shahid Azmi, who was ruthlessly killed for going to bat for the unfairly charged, the film is a fitting tribute to his life and Rao’s exhibition, the ideal victor.
The types of films that deal with real-life incidents and the issues which are considered taboo in our society are what our cinema is capable of producing and should direct apart from all other genres. This keeps the audience intact and also informative and also pays tribute to the victims of the incident. However, post-COVID-19 watching movies will be completely different.
