8 Bollywood Actors Who Have Failed To Make An Impressive Comeback

C omebacks in Bollywood is not as easy as it seems. One day you leave the industry and hope after years you will be accepted the same way you were done before. Not happens always.

There have been many popular stars who have failed to live up the hype. Bollywood is not unknown to the fact that many stars have kept striving hard to achieve their lost fame and made multiple attempts at a comeback.

While only a few sailed through this, others’ efforts got in vain. Here are the 8 actors who failed at Bollywood comebacks and couldn't impress us:

Govinda

Govinda has always given us fabulous dance moves and amazing comic timing but after he came from a break he couldn’t make that mark again.

Although he has several complaints that his Bollywood contemporaries have forgotten him, his choice of films to make a comeback has been a disaster and has not impressed anyone. Whether it is "Kill Dil" , "Happy ending" , or his recent one "Aa Gaya Hero" each one has been a flop.

Uday Chopra

After his few unimpressive performances, it was very obvious that the audience didn’t quite like Uday Chopra , even though being Yash Chopra’s son.

After working as an assistant director for a long time, one would think it would be an easy ride in Bollywood, Junior Chopra did the same.

But from his debut in "Mohabbatein" in 2000 and his last appearance in "Dhoom 3" in 2013, there were only a handful of movies he did, and not one of them was worth remembering.

Preity Zinta

This dimple girl, Preity Zinta was a heartthrob in her early 2000s. Not just she had her pretty face, but her movies did equally well during that time like "Salaam Namaste", "Kal Ho Na Ho", "Veer-Zaara" , etc.

After taking a break from Bollywood she made a comeback with "Ishq in Paris" in 2013 but it failed to impress the audience.

Madhuri Dixit

Our DhakDhak girl Madhuri Dixit made a much-hyped comeback after her marriage with "Aaja Nachle". But her millions of fans were left disappointed with the movie.

When she shifted to India with her family, she starred in "DedhIshqiya" in 2014. While her performance was appreciated but the movie failed at the box office and failed to give her career the elevation.

The actor has recently started a youtube channel where she talks about her personal and professional life.

Karishma Kapoor

The actress last appeared in the movie "Baaz" before her marriage in 2003. It was a mega flop and so her comeback movie "Mere Jeevan Saathi" that came in 2006.

Her second comeback was through "Dangerous Ishq" in 2012 where she was seen in a triple role but that too failed. She was last seen in a cameo in the movie "Zero" .

Raveena Tandon

After Raveena Tandon's marriage in 2004 , she made a comeback after two years with a comedy movie "Sandwich" . It failed to get her noticed.

She tried again with a small role in "Buddah Hoga Tera Baap" in 2011, but that also couldn’t get her career back on track.

Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan was no way close to his father Feroz Khan, who was immensely popular.

He tried his hands in "Pyaar tune kya Kiya", "Junglee" but they also failed at the box office like his other films like "Janasheen", "Pyaare Mohan".

Zayed Khan

Zayed Khan , son of director Sanjay Khan, made his debut with "Churaliya hai tumne" in 2003 and quite known for his role in "Main Hoon Na" that came in 2004. One may recall his parts in movies like "Dus" in 2005, "Fight Club - Members Only" in 2006, and "Blue" in 2009 but none of these did anything to launch him as a superstar and was shadowed.

If these comebacks of the actors did anything to the audiences that were only to make them nostalgic about when we had them in their popular times.

Also, Reality shows on TV are the safest bets for comebacks that seem nowadays.
