Shahi tukda
It is a royal traditional dessert from Hyderabadi cuisine made by toasting bread in ghee. Topped with nuts.
- Cut the bread slices into small triangles and deep fry them till it turns golden brown.
- Mix sugar with water. Boil and bring it to 1 string consistency to make sugar syrup.
- To make rabri, boil milk in a wide pot until it reduces to half and add milkmaid to it. Then add cardamom and saffron to it.
- Dip the fried bread pieces into the syrup and take them out after 2- 3 seconds.
- Put thick creamy saffron milk (rabri) over the bread slice.
- Garnish it with nuts.
