Coronavirus pandemic is just getting worse every day. In India, the case registered, tested positive and the number of demises was already staggeringly high and it’s just increasing day-by-day. A lot of celebs had been tested positive for COVID-19 as well. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan and Aaradhya had been tested positive of COVID-19. And now, we hear that singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s son, Dhruv has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Taking about the same in and interview Indian Express, Abhijeet Bhattacharya said that he had a mild cold and cough and since he was traveling abroad, he voluntarily got himself tested during which he was found positive. However, there’s nothing to worry about. “Dhruv was planning to travel abroad, and since there is a rule to get tested for coronavirus before travelling, he went for a voluntary test. He is asymptomatic. He has just a little cold and cough. He has quarantined himself at home and is taking all the precautions. There is nothing to worry,” the singer said.
Abhijeet went on to reveal that he is shooting and is doing fine. “I am shooting in Kolkata,” the singer said while adding, “and the rule is that only if you have tested negative for coronavirus, can you get on sets. So I had tested negative, and I continue to shoot.”
Meanwhile, a debate of nepotism has been going on in the industry. Sonu Nigam had triggered the debate of nepotism in the music industry. Expressing his view, earlier, the singer had said, “It wasn’t like this before in the ‘90s. Back then, it was even unthinkable. It did happen that one song went from one singer to another but it was authentically, not like this. Things were not so dirty. A film director and music composer used to decide which singer they want, not some company or actor.”
We hope, Dhruv recovers soon and millions of others too.
