Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth, the god figure of the South Indian film industry, got this title after a lot of hard work and struggle. Before he was known as Thalaiva, he was a poor child who worked as a coolie and bus conductor for his living.

Then he started off by playing roles in Kannada mythological plays – and from there only he got selected for his debut film ‘Apoorva Raagangal’ and won a National Film Award. After that there was no stop for Rajinikanth to gain stardom.
