Bread Upma
As the name says, it is mainly the recipe of south Indian people but yes it is a very tasty snack and we can also make it when we want to use up the excess bread. It takes only 15 to 20 minutes.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 tsp mustard seeds and let them crackle and pop.

Then add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds. Stir and saute till it changes their color.

Add 1/3 cup chopped onion. Stir till they turn translucent.

Add chopped green chili, ginger, and curry leaves. Stir and saute for about 10 to 12 seconds.

Then add 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and mix it well.

Add the bread cubes. Mix the bread well with the rest of the mixture.

Then add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.

Mix and serve bread upma hot as a breakfast or as a quick snack.
