Za’atar with roasted tomato
Za’atar is a dish made with roasted tomato crostini. This dish is a mixture of Middle Eastern spice and Italian spice. The labneh and spiced tomatoes put a unique twist and you will get perfect Za’atar with a side salad.
How to prepare it:
- To make the crostini, heat the oven to 175 C.
- Thinly slice the baguette.
- Brush both sides of the bread with oil, and season them with za’atar, salt, and pepper.
- Bake the bread until it turns golden.
- Make a dip with coriander and yogurt and spread over the baked bread.
- Roast the tomatoes on the pan with oil, salt, and pepper.
- When they melt properly, place them over the spread of the baked bread, and put some coriander leaves and serve.
